The Theodore D. Young Community Center in Greenburgh will host much of the tri-state area’s top basketball talent Friday night in the sixth Frankie Williams Charity Classic.
The game is expected to feature several of the area’s top recruits, including Iona Prep’s Ty Jerome, Matt Ryan and Tom Capuano; Spring Valley’s Kai Mitchell and Rickey McGill; and Stepinac’s Kylan Guerra and Jordan Tucker. In addition to local stars, several high-major recruits have been announced as participants.

Past participants in the Frankie Williams Charity Classic are: Lance Stephenson, Kemba Walker, Hassan Whiteside, Moe Harkless, Tobias Harris, Russ Smith, Kyle Anderson, Sean Kilpatrick, Doron Lamb, JayVaughn Pinkston, Isaiah Whitehead, Ra’Shad James, Kevin Jones and Chris McCullough, among others.
Doors open at 7 and the game is slated to begin at 8. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students with all proceeds earmarked for the development of the athletic and academic programs at the Community Center.
