Hudson Valley won its first two games in relatively easy fashion at the BCANY Summer Hoops Festival. The defending silver-medalists return to the court this afternoon at 4 to play Nassau. They will be favorites, and should move one step closer to securing a spot in tomorrow’s gold-medal game.
Meanwhile, Haldane’s Peter Hoffmann and Masters’ Mike Jurzynski, a Pearl River resident, competed in the dunk contest. Here’s a look at Hoffmann’s two dunks. And here’s Jurzynski. (Thanks to assistant coach Nick Nastasi for the videos.)
