FANTASTIC,BEST AWARDS OF THE YEAR
These student athletes are most definitely our future leaders. Remember their names. Congratulations to all!
Thanks Josh for publishing this story.
Court of Excellence 20+ years running, its was the passion and brainchild of Coach Thom from Croton. Hats off to him for a truly inspired way of recognizing basketball’s student athletes.
Im told that the resumes of this year’s recipients was awe inspring with each one unbelieveably more impressive than the next !
It does not get the same props as Football’s Golden Dozen, but it should. Thanks Josh for shining the light.
Heard Vitkus speak recently at a CYO diner where he was being honored for his yearlong contribution to the local parish food pantry. He puts plastic bags with notes inside (requesting food for the pantry), in 20-30 mailboxes a week. Then goes back a few days later and picks up the bags full of donations and brings them to the pantry. The kid has done this every week for the past year, all on his own.
