Monday’s loss put Spring Valley and North Rockland into a virtual tie atop League 4-A. It only took 48 hours for the Tigers to move back ahead.
Spring Valley beat Clarkstown South tonight behind a big game from big man Kai Mitchell. Up the Palisade Parkway, North Rockland was upset at home by Clarsktown North. That means Spring Valley will win the league title outright if it can beat North in its regular-season finale.
Sal Barbetto was the hero for North, scoring seven of his 20 in OT.
Tappan Zee also earned revenge against Nyack and moved into a virtual tie in League 4-B with Albertus Magnus.
