-Somers (8), Spring Valley (8) and Rye Neck (5) all have impressive win streaks on the line.
-Pleasantville-Briarcliff and Iona Prep-Stepinac are both rematches of games that took place earlier this season on the same day.
-The Mamaroneck Sound Shore Classic opens up today.

The rivalry that could have been as Mamaroneck hosts Rye Neck tonite. These schools should play each other every year in as many sports as possible. All these kids grew up together playing on the same rec and summer travel teams. Should be a lot of fun.

I’m a stepinac fan and I think ‘step fan’ gets a little carried away with his attempts a humor, but I wouldn’t assume ‘next year will be all Iona’. Both Step and Iona have a lot of contributors that are juniors. Iona returns capuano, Ryan and ice. Step returns naim Thomas, Demarcus miller and Walter king. I like Step’s guys in each of those three good matchups.
