I just confirmed with Kevin Cook of the Parks Dept. that the final day of action at the Slam Dunk has been pushed to Sunday.
“There is supposed to be five inches and it’s suppose to snow all day,” Cook said. “We have teams coming from up north. We don’t want to take any chances.”
The County Center will host all five games on the same schedule Sunday that had originally been set for Saturday. Games begin with the girls consolation at 11. The boys consolation will be held at 1. Peekskill and South Shore are slated to meet at 3 in a challenge game, followed by the girls championship at 5 and the boys championship at 7.
