We didn’t post the roundups on Thursday night, so here are results from the last two days.
Saunders and Sleepy Hollow will not meet in the semis on Saturday at Keene State in New Hampshire. Although Saunders advanced, Sleepy did not.
Saunders has received some impressive play the last two games from freshman Derrick Felder. He’s averaged 16.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists in his last two games. The Blue Devils advanced not only on Felder’s back, but on the back of big Rahbir Hamman, who hit the game-winner with 12 seconds left this afternoon.
Albertus also won its Christmas tournament. Jack Sullivan has continued the strong start to his senior season, but it was sophomore Matt Dale who starred in Friday’s win over Kennedy.
