Spring Valley plays Minisink Valley High School (Section 9) and Alexander Hamilton plays Vernon Township High School (New Jersey), this afternoon beginning at 3 PM, with both games as part of the Vernon Township High School Holiday Tournament up in Sussex County, New Jersey (Consolation is tomorrow beginning at the same time)
The Iona coach should be embarrassed – 15 point lead and they lose- This coming off a big lead and almost blowing it to New Rochelle- Now I see why they blew it in football- bad coach

Coach Vic did not do a great job of coaching during this game but to say that he is a bad coach is absolutely false. If you have ever been to one of his practices this man is one of the best around the attention to detail he has is unreal that no coach in the county has. He has won two state championships in the past 5 years. Last years Iona team was a perfect example, yes I know they were in the A division but there was not one team in the county other than MV that played better team defense then them.
Anyway hats off to Somers on the comeback, but let me remind all of you other than Williams and Ice all of these players are first year varsity players making them one of the youngest in the area. Also they were missing their starting PG Tom Capuano due to sickness. Just wait this team will turn it around
