As first reported today by the New York Post, Stepinac’s Caleb Gilligan-Evans has not committed to play football at Yale.
The senior running back was recruited by the coaching staff and offered an opportunity to play for Yale months ago, but, like with every Ivy League school, it was contingent upon him being accepted by the admissions department. Gilligan-Evans was, indeed, accepted to Yale last week.
Although Yale remains a strong possibility, he has yet to make a decision on his future.
“He is still open to other options,” Stepinac coach Mike O’Donnell said.
