I have a few more football highlights to add to our database. They are listed below.
To see the complete list of football highlights, check out my blog post from back in May.
If you have highlights to add to the database, e-mail me a link at jthomson@lohud.com.
T.J. Hallock, QB, Fox Lane
Anthony Caldararo, TE/DT, New Rochelle
Diamonte Robinson, WR, Peekskill
Robinson is someone whose name we haven’t seen on here before. But, according to Peekskill coach Frank Bucci, he has received recruiting interest from Coastal Carolina and Tiffin University.

Wow, another good QB for Section 1 in Hallock!!!
Very quick, fairly accurate, especially on the run, and the thing that impressed me most, VERY hard nosed when he ran the ball. He is not shy about contact, which is unusal for a QB and o-lineman respect that type of QB, IMO.
Anyone have his 2010 STATS?? Also, who is recruiting him? If I ws the new Foxlane Coach, might have to visit the “GENIOUS” Coach Tribou and get some info on his pseudo Spread/WingT!!!! Hallock looks like he would flourish in that type of offense.
just
i thnk i posted this on another thread!!.. can this be the year of qb’s in sec1?????....... hallock is right ther with the rest of them!!... i agree he should be running the wing t spread!!..(
) he is a solid football player!!... can do a lil of everything!!... a very good defensive back also!!
do you thnk he should be up for s11???????????????
diamonte robinson…...... very good hands good concentration (needs a qb) !!....but is he really 6’3” 205lbs??????????????????
Prince, you know without STATS it is tough to tell. He does look like he was the whole team on offense. I did not watch his defensive highlights, but no shock that he can play D based on what he was doing running the ball.
Surprising he plays both ways since in this day and age, QB’s are coddled!!!
Here is the question. What would you do?
You have a kid who probably a better recruit for D-Back then QB, and yet if you keep him fresh and only play him on offense, he most likely could be more productive since he would have more energy and that would benfit the team, assuming you have adequate replacement on D. What would you do as Coach(thinking team)? What would you want for him if you were his parent(thinking College not team) ?
Prince, agree with everything you said on Robinson. Great hands, good concetration, needs a QB!! And he dont look 6’3”!!!
That seems like the one down fall with STATS and youtube. I think it is important for each kid to put their exact measurements and STATS.
Save the lies for the girls!!!!
JUST
lol, save the lies for girls!!...
just
i would him play alot in all the blowout games on defense and sit him more on offense!!.. and i would play him every 3rd poss. on defense in the rest of the games!..
i would want him too think both college and the team!!.......but it would have too work for my kid overall!!!...... if my son is playing qb in that situation he would have to be in a system that will give him a opportunity too perform!!... not just hand the ball off it will have to be design running plays for him and a equal amount of passing plays!!!... to show case his athletcism because more then likely we would be promoting him as a athlete more then a qb or a d.b.
thoughts…
just
it look like fox was not to bad, competitive in just about all ther games!!... they played yorktown tied at the half then york pulled away in the 4th qtr. they played john jay close 21-14 and they played clk so close in a shootout 41-34 it look like the teams that scored alot of points where teams that was balance on offense they could throw and run!!
also i agree about the STATS!!.. you already know how i feel about that!...smh!!!!!! when will the “smart” people get it!!!!.......
Prince, I agree. You want the QB getting alot of opportunities to show case his talents, like the Spread allows for the QB!!!
Otherwise, you need to be out there at DB letting them see what they are going to get. Doubt it is the norm where a QB plays no D his Sr year but ends up with a D-Back scholarship like Marsh from Troy.
Hallock definitely in the discussion for SUper 11. Probably will fall just short.
Watching the tape on Caldararo. I was very impressed with his defense. Knowing New Ro’s offense he had more catches as a tight end then any other receiver on the team and probably more then the last 10 TE to play for New ro. I just wish they would show more blocking, New Ro was a running team and scored a lot of rushing TD’s. So I am sure he made some great blocks.
FOOTBALL
i agree caldararo is a very good def & off players i would love too see him get alot more passes he is a better pass catching t.e. then a blocker!!.... ” new ro did not score alot of points on offense the second unit might have scored maybe 2 0r 3 less then the starters!!!...
just
i think marsh played some d.b. either last year or some this year!!...... i will find out!!.. i would be surprise if they took him over kids who played d.b. all season!!!
just
hallock might make the final cut!!... he just came on the scene a lil late but his tape has some value!!!!!
Hallock deserves to be super 11, coming into his senior year he has put up ridiculous numbers on defense and offense (mostly defense). Hes started at the CB spot since his sophomore year.
COACH
can you post his stats?
Prince, why would someone keep STATS???
Coach, can you let us know who is recruiting him and for what position?
Hallock started defense as 10th grader. he was Captain, QB, CB and Punter in 11th. his first start at QB against Carmel he threw for two touchdowns and ran for one. He and Karanja Elliot split the rushing yards for the game. the team invested a lot of plays in the big man Elliot for the rest of the season. Just a Fact has a point – the the greeley style run / pass with Justin Ciero would force defenses to watch every corner of the field.
As i watch Diamonte Robinson’s highlights he reminds me of one other receiver who also attended peekskill high school and left to ossining high school for one year and that is no other than Donqutae Robinson who will finally begin his senior season at Brunswick this year. And that got me wondering how well is Donqutae and Darrick performing at the Brunswick School, so i did a little research. After searching for information on the two I found that Donqutae is being recruited by some really good D-1 programs and was named the #4 player in the state of Connecticut. i was unable to find anything on Darrick besides his stats on maxpreps and he also did really well wrestling this year winning the state title in his weight class. BUT! if i am not mistaken Darrick went to Brunswick for football and to not find anything on him only leaves one question did Darrick perform as well as he should have or did he turn out to be the same player that did not see much time on the field at RCK and OHS?
