Just a quick note: White Plains senior Odaine Franklin received his second scholarship offer. According to Tigers coach Skip Stevens, the University at Albany offered Franklin on Sunday.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Franklin was offered by the University of Akron late last month. He has also been heavily recruited by UConn — although he has yet to receive an offer from the Huskies.

This is great stuff. Please consider compiling / posting all the athletes who receive, accept and go on to play at the different levels in college. Keep reporting on them or challenge all of your bloggers to do some of the updates for you. In the end it would be very cool for all of us (who are fans of local ball) and the next group of athletes coming up to continue tracking these great young athletes. Each new year of athletes will set an example and raise the bar for future generations!
more will come!!!!!!
Can we start with a list from last year’s football kids.
Who is playing at the college level? Where are they all playing?
Good luck to all who are continuing to play.

Thanks. Just checked it out. Many Bronxville, Scarsdale, New Ro kids. Only 1 WP kid? They had some pretty good talent last year (and the year before also). Hopefully more representation from WP moving forward.
