There’s been a lot of talk here in recent weeks about who are the area’s top returning football players for the 2011 season. Well, for those who want to see the area’s top players for themselves, several will be working out the next three nights at New Rochelle High School.
The Huguenot coaching staff is hosting a High School Player Development camp this week. The training portion of the camp started Monday night.
All HSPD camps around the country are sponsored by the NFL. It is free, and has been hosted by New Rochelle in the past. This year, several of the players who have been discussed as Super 11 candidates are attending the camp, including seniors-to-be from local powerhouses like New Rochelle and Stepinac.
The camp begins at 5 p.m. tonight, Wednesday and Thursday. It features drills with players by position and some 7-on-7 work before each session ends around 7:30.
The workouts are open to the public. I will try to make it over there one of the next three nights. If so, I’ll report back what I see. In the meantime, I wanted to make everyone aware of the event.

There will also be an NFL HSPD camp running in Rockland County from June 6-10 at Clarkstown North. Craig Jacoby from Suffern HS is the contact.

And if Josh don’t like the info being shared it is his resposibility to come on here and say so. It is his blog and he makes the rules.
I always like how Josh policed this blog, but IMO it definitely looks like he is leaning towards a certain side when he allows people to continue there “Where is Waldo” quest to attack Prince. And the funny thing people come here to read what Prince has to offer. Who benefits from that? Josh. Well really lohud, but Josh too.
