11:46 p.m.: We’re about 15 minutes away from kickoff here at the Carrier Dome. Tuckahoe will take on Caledonia-Mumford of Section 5 for the Class D state championship. I’ll provide live updates here on the blog rather than on Twitter because I’m in the press box and I don’t have to keep stats. Good news for those of you with Twitterphobia.

12:02 p.m.: Tuckahoe won the coin toss but deferred. Cal-Mum will have the ball to start.
12:06 p.m.: The game is underway.
12:11 p.m.: After one first down, Cal-Mum stalled thanks to penalties and a sack by Jonathan Jubilee. Inexplicably, Cal-Mum faked a punt on 4th and 21. The ball was nearly picked off. Tuckahoe ball at the CM 23. Start the bus?
12:15 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN, Kevin Garabitos 1 run. PAT is blocked. 6-0 Tuckahoe, 5:52 remaining in the first quarter.
Garabitos’ TD capped a six-play, 23-yard drive for Tuckahoe. Jarett Sommer and Luis Esquilin each had first down runs.
12:20 p.m.: Cal-Mum goes three-and-out. Tuckahoe will receive punt.
12:23 p.m.: Tuckahoe started at its 27 after a 47-yard punt but is already past midfield. No big plays yet but the Tigers are moving the ball methodically. Garabitos is running a hurry-up offense and it has been effective.
12:26 p.m.: The drive stalled. Garabitos just missed Brad Broncati on a second down pass. Tuckahoe punted. Cal-Mum will start at its 16, 1:26 to play in the first quarter.
12:28 p.m.: An eight-yard run by Cal-Mum’s Tyler Laufer on first down ended with a late hit penalty on Sommer. Cal-Mum moves to the 39.
12:29 p.m.: End of the first quarter, Tuckahoe leads 6-0. Cal-Mum will face a 3rd and 10 at its 39 to start the second quarter.
12:31 p.m.: Ryan Mitchell intercepts the pass on third down and returns it 35 yards to the 18.
12:34 p.m.: After a three yard gain by Luis Esquilin, Tuckahoe picks up TWO grabbing the face mask penalties, setting up… 1st and 37!
12:37 p.m.: Tuckahoe didn’t get the first down after the two face masks. Cal-Mum takes over at its 20.
12:39 p.m.: Timeout Tuckahoe with 8:05 to play in the first half after a first-down run for Cal-Mum, which has 1st and 10 at its 31. Tuckahoe’s defense has made life awfully difficult on Cal-Mum’s offense, which has 21 total yards on 17 plays.
12:45 p.m.: Tuckahoe being hurt by penalties. Tigers just made a third and 2 stop but were whistled for a face mask. Cal-Mum into Tuckahoe territory for the first time.
12:46 p.m.: On fourth and 1, fullback Trevor Haut picks up 2. First down at the Tuckahoe 33.
12:48 p.m.: Timeout Tuckahoe with 3:32 left in the second quarter. CM 2 and 1 at the 24.
12:52 p.m.: Cal-Mum went for it on fourth and 1 from the 11. Tuckahoe stuffed Haut, but he got the first by inches. 1st and 10 from just outside the 10.
12:54 p.m.: Timeout Cal-Mum. The Raiders have the ball at the 7 on 2nd and 7 with 1:02 left in the first half. This has been an 18-play drive that has lasted 8:25.
12:56 p.m.: Jonathan Jubilee stuffs Haut on third and 2. Timeout Cal-Mum. 4th and 2 with 14 seconds left in half.
12:57 p.m.: False start. Now it’s 4th and 7.
12:59 p.m.: Cal-Mum tried a halfback pass with workhorse Jon Cappotelli. He was rushed, lobbed it into end zone and it was batted away. Tuckahoe took a knee. It’s 6-0 Tigers at halftime. They get the ball to start the second half.
1:00 p.m.: That was a 21-play drive for Cal-Mum. What a huge stop by Tuckahoe. That will not bode well for the Raiders. Cappotelli already has 18 carries, 15 of them on that drive alone.

1:24 p.m.: Esquilin’s run over right guard gives the Tigers a 14-0 lead after Garabitos’ two-point conversion run. The drive stretched 53 yards and lasted nine plays. The key play was a six-yard pass from Garabitos to Esquilin on third and 6 from the 11.
1:27 p.m.: Back to back first down passes by Cal-Mum QB Madison Suhr. Cal-Mum into Tuckahoe territory.
1:29 p.m.: After a fumble by Cappotelli that was recovered by Cal-Mum, Sommer intercepted a pass and returned it 42 yards. Tuckahoe ball at the Cal-Mum 38.
1:31 p.m.: Tuckahoe went three and out. The punt was nearly blocked. It’s now Cal-Mum ball at its 14.
1:36 p.m.: Quick kick for Cal-Mum on 3rd and 21 from its own 3. They were there thanks to Ryan Rossi’s sack and a holding penalty. Tuckahoe ball at the Cal-Mum 46. A TD here could put this one on ice.
1:40 p.m.: End of the third quarter. Tuckahoe leads 14-0. There will be measurement after a 3rd and 8 run by Garabitos.
1:42 p.m.: Fourth down and less than a yard to start the fourth quarter.
1:44 p.m.: Sommer gets the first down. 1st and 10 at the Cal-Mum 24.
1:47 p.m.: A holding penalty and a lining up in the neutral penalty derail Tuckahoe. Nixon is stopped on fourth and 8. Cal-Mum ball at its 19.
1:49 p.m: Another interception for Mitchell. Tuckahoe has the ball at the Cal-Mum 24.
1:52 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN Tuckahoe. Jason Feuer caught a 12-yarder on 4th and 10 from the 12. It’s 20-0 Tuckahoe with 6:26 to play.
1:54 p.m.: The kick is good. 21-0 Tuckahoe lead. Garabitos had Feuer wide open inside the end zone and lobbed the touchdown pass to him. Feuer leaped to make the catch over a closing defender.
1:59 p.m.: Cal-Mum completed a long pass into Tuckahoe territory. Eventually, the Raiders faced a fourth and five. They threw a short pass but Esquilin made a tackle after four yards. Tuckahoe ball, just 4:27 left.
2:01 p.m.: First and goal at the 8.
2:04 p.m.: Timeout Tuckahoe with 55 seconds to play. It’s fourth and goal at the 4.
2:06 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN Tuckahoe. Garabitos 4-yard run. Extra point is no good. It’s 27-0 Tuckahoe with 48 seconds left.
2:09 p.m.: FINAL SCORE — Tuckahoe 27, Caledonia-Mumford 0. Tuckahoe wins the second state title in program history and first since 2006. Tigers finish the season 10-1.
