Fresh off two wins and with a big game looming on Sunday at Holy Cross, Iona Prep’s Tim Perley will join me this Thursday night at 7 on Varsity Insider Chat.
The senior had helped the Gaels to a 2-1 start in his first season as their starting quarterback. Join us on Thursday when we’ll talk about how Iona has rebounded the last two weeks; if his team has improved since it lost to Stepinac; how it has been filling the shoes of Tyrae Woodson-Samuels; and what the future holds, both for Perley as a Division I swimmer and for Iona Prep in the 2010 season. (Also, maybe we’ll have Perley weigh in on the New Ro-Stepinac debate. Hmm…)
You probably already know, but after Perley’s done I’ll stay on so we can take a look ahead at Week 4. Send us all of your questions and comments.
You can find the show at LoHud.com/vclive.

BIG JOE
Had the chance to attend the Harrison-Easchester game on Sat nite- Great Great atmosphere- Nice setting
IonaPower,
You’re a better man than I. I might have responded a little more tongue and cheek at Big Joe’s backhanded compliment. I do of course like Big Joe and his enthusiasm for Harrison football. A statement along the lines of, “it would be interesting to see how many years between wins Harrison would go if they played Iona’s schedule” would probably only inflame things, glad I didn’t respond with that.
That’s because BIG JOE is senile. Seriously, who taught him to use a computer?
