My son went to this two years ago.
I think it is a golden opportunity for the kids to see what’s out there on the next level.
Go and make some new friends.
High School Football is great enjoy the moment in the sun.
Its a shame that local schools like Pace, Marist and Fordham don’t send out A Coach to check out talent in the area. Section 1 has talented kids that can play at these teams level (1-AA and II) yet they (the schools) seem uninterested in the talent surrounding them.
Willy J…..I am hoping Pace will end up sending a representative. The newly appointed Head Coach Chris Dapolito has attended in the past. As far as Fordham and Marist go, NCAA rules prohibit them from attending, otherwise I know they would. Coach Roos from Marist and Coach Volk from Fordham come to New Rochelle to pick up a copy of the results and talk to me about the players that did participate and who stood out. Also, the TE Coach at Fordham is Mike Breznicky, the former Section I standout from Eastchester. He has worked the Day as a volunteer in the past and was planning on attending until I told him he could not because of the NCAA rule prohibiting FBS and FCS schools from attending.
The real question is why aren’t more players attending this Day? There should be 250 players there easily, but in the past there have only been between 100-125! Any player that is going to be in 10th, 11th, or 12th grade next season and even thinks they might want to play college football should attend. Heck, even if you just want to play high school football you should be there, just for the competition, and the college coaching you’re going to receive because it can’t help but make you a better high school football player! Even if you plan on attending other Combine’s or College Camps you should go, because more football can only help you! Hopefully the Players of Section I, Section IX, and Southern CT will realize this and go. It’s going to be a great day of football!

I think that you need to stop preaching about how HS kids need to attend if they plan on playing in college. This is a business for you, You are not a not-for-profit organization. I dont have a problem with you running a business and earning a living, but to come on here and make kids feel like if they dont attend they are doing something worng, just isnt right in my honest opinion.
Now if im off base, and you are charging players a fee just to cover costs, then I apologize. But i dont see how thats possible, if your raising the fee almost 70% if you you dont pre register
Thanks for clarifying. Did not know all the rules. Good luck w/the Camp.
How did the camp go ?

Thats how you run a business. You create a product and market it as a can’t miss thing.
