With spring nearing full bloom and a long summer ahead, we still have months before football season and even more until basketball. However, I know there are athletes across the area who have plenty to talk about. And I would like to offer the opportunity to do just that.
If you’re an athlete who reads this blog, or you’re someone who knows an athlete who is/would be interested, let me know. In short, I’m looking for guest bloggers who have something to say and want to contribute to the discussion.
Is that you? If so, send me an e-mail at jthomson@lohud.com with your name, your school, your sport and what topic you’d like to write about. All I ask is you keep it clean and don’t stray from a certain level of sportsmanship. For example, if you’re from Harrison and want to explain why you expect to beat Rye this fall, that’s cool. But if you’re explanation is basically “Rye stinks” and nothing more, that’s not cool. We’re not looking for those contributions, thanks.
Anyway, it’s fairly simple. Let me know who you are and what you’d like to discuss on here, and we can take it from there.
I hope to hear from many of you. I think it would add to the discussion to hear what some of the athletes out there want to talk about.

Teams are getting ready to start Spring Football right after Memorial Day weekend. Any plans to cover some of those teams to get a leg up on the upcoming season???
Do u think either matthew stone, cody welles, or Brandon Lee will step up and make a huge impact for panas this basketball season?

Check out this new blog on the Ossining High School website focused on the Ossining High School football program…http://ohs.ossiningufsd.org/blogs/ablog…its pretty new but more posts and video are going to be put up soon.
Hey maybe an update on a bunch of the players from section 1 that have been playing in college. We know about Kev Jones and hear about a couple other guys (Tony taylor, melquan, etc.) but what about some other guys who went on to play college ball? Section 1 has been sending guys to d2 and d3 in bunches the last couple years so it would be interesting to see how they are doing in a blog post.

Someone should write how those Bronxville football kids get piss drunk every weekend and even during weekdays and often break the law
