Highlight films on LoHud

July
22

Our site dedicated to football highlight films has officially been launched!

You can view the site, lohud.com/recruitvideos, by clicking this link. Right now, we have 12 players posted and expected it will grow rapidly. Most of them are direct links to YouTube pages with the videos. On there you can actually find links to other game films associated with the teams and players.

Please let us know what you think. Also, if you’d like your video, or the film of somebody you know, to be profiled on the site, we’d be happy to add it. Just email me the link at kdevaney@lohud.com. Sending an actual DVD to me would be better: 1 Gannett Drive, White Plains NY 10604.

Football season is soon approaching. In the next few days I’ll be posting dates and sites for mini camps. The Super 11 team, in case you were wondering, will be picked in the next week or so but won’t likely be unveiled until Aug. 20.

Rumor has it that the kid from Albertus, Alejandro, tore his ACL and is out for the season. Shame. It looks like they had a real offensive weapon on their hands.

  2. TRICOUNTY

Maybe you could add team highlight DVD’s. I would be nice to see some of the old stuff. I am sure you will see some great stuff from as far back as the 80’s. If you never saw some of the great games between DeMateo’s Rosevelt Indians and Casarella’s Red Raiders you could probably catch them on an old highlight tape. I would love to see Owens, Harvey, Cann, Kennedy, Joyner, Moldenado, ..............

ALbertus constantly overrates their team as a whole, I know I’ve played there, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t had some pretty good individual talents over the years. I played with Mike McKenzie who set a few Rockland County records and maybe even some section records. I also played with Bobby Stapleton who set the Section 1 record for sacks in a single season. Albertus’s problem is they don’t have the size or numbers to compete with the top Class C teams in the area.

    Kevin,

How about a new post, what are you on vacation, this is no good, find something to write about, how about you do a team by team breakdown, i know you cant be that busy over there. football season is right around the corner, get a move on, make it happen, your better than what your showing me right now. lets go.
