  5. Steve

    KEVIN!!!,
How about an update on the guys who played in college this year?
Alot of talent out there from Westchester at all levels of college ball from last years class and its hard to find information on it. I figure your insider abilities give you a better chance of getting the info.

  6. ?????

Hey Kev is it true that Ty Jackson and Oasiris Yates are both going to Newbury next year?

  7. COS

    Steve,

I have been doing alot of research into college Basketball teams at all levels for another reason. But if you want to see how a local kid is doing in college, go to the college’s web Athletics pages, they have all the games results, detailed stats, etc.. Most college’s URL is http://www.collegename.edu, so someone mentioned Newbury, go to http://www.newbury.edu. But that is not allways the case, if that doesn’t work, just search the college name on Google.

  8. section 1

wheres steve feeney? He lead the kennedy Gaels into the playoffs while averaging about 17 a game and 10 rebounds a game.

  9. Wazzuny88

Zags reports that Sherrod will be taking an official visit to George Mason this weekend, is he doing both??? time/distance has to be an issue there

  10. PeekCity

Is that Pooh Bear on the gold team for Peekskill? Why is Jamie not on one of these teams? Good question. Jamie aver. 10 points a game and both of these kids have no offers to college, wow!

  11. PeekCity

Thank coach p he’s good for wins but college that’s another story!

  12. Viking Fan

    ?????,

Yes Ty JAckson is transferring to Newbury and Oasiris Yates has committed there.

  13. FANtastic

wwoooww ryan reifenhauser actually made this roster? he is teerrrrriibbbllle. whoever put these teams together must’ve just looked at dobbs’s box scores(my 8 year old sister could average a double double with their schedule) and not actually watched the kids play because he is horrendous i actually laughed when i saw his name on that list. probably a nice kid but definitely not a player

  14. ?????

    Viking Fan,

Is Ty Jackson gonna play there with Oasiris?

  15. ?????

how did Trent Emanuel not got on this list. He ate Shaq up?

  16. 624 CUTS

Just A LITTLE SHOUT OUT FOR A TRU BALLER !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. Viking Fan

    ????,

Yes Ty will play with Oasiris at Newbury

  18. kyle

    who won the game?

  19. 914

lol here comes franco again thinking he is a close personal friend of every athlete in rockland. ur pathetic dude

  20. info

what were the stats? anyone put on a show?

  21. mv

what happened in the games kev?

  22. ncaa

Newbury college, Ma, small D3 school, a good fit for a class “c” kid

  23. ????!!!@@@@@

What do you mean by a class “c” kid????

  24. ????!!!@@@@@

Yea I know he is in class “C” but is there something behind the remark?? Class “c” does not define your skills just your school size!!!!!!

  25. ncaa

And it also defines the competition you play against during the season, which is a huge factor for college coaches and the recruiting services they subscribe too. The same can be said for academics, a “B” from a well renowned high school carries more weight than that same “B” from a less regarded high school in the eyes of an college admission department.

There was not “something behind the remark”, just a statement that it is a good fit for both player and college.
