Watch live tonight

October
24

We’ll be airing THREE games on Lohud.com tonight: Fox Lane at Ossining, Poughkeepsie at Somers and Mahopac vs. Ramapo.

You can access those feeds by clicking below:

Poughkeepsie vs. Somers

Ossining vs. Fox Lane

Mahopac vs. Ramapo

As a new feature to our broadcasts, the reporters at each game will be giving commentary and news from the sidelines via a wireless microphone we’ll be carrying. I’ll be at Ossining-Fox Lane. Whenever somebody scores, there’s a big play in the game or there’s news to share, I’ll chime in. I’ll also be giving a halftime report from the field.

Hopefully you check them out.

    PLEASE PULL THE FEED!

  3. jax

Ramapo is embarassing theirselves on their home turf

  4. WOW

    SOMERS 61-12 OVER PK WOW

  5. Fantasy FB

Somers scores 60 for the second time this season, Dematteo is out of line!

  6. 09

if somers is good enough to score 60, why shouldnt they. Honestly fantasy FB, do you play for peekskill. This somers team is simply amazing right now, way better than ossining last year, harrison 06 vs. somers 08 would be a treat, sadly it will never happen.

  7. A Fan

Overlooking the “O” who pulled their starters before the start of the first half. Not a good idea.

  8. Money

    A fan,

So ossinings second team played the entire game? They pulled their starters b4 the start of the first half?

  9. scary

PK is very weak – its not Coach DeMatteo, they just did not belong in the playoffs. The North was way down in A this year.

  10. Section w/ some sence

    mahopac score?

  11. Upset

Non playoff game in Class A .. Hen Hud 18 John Jay 14.. Hen Hud out hit and out played John Jay all night… Coach Clark is way over rated

  12. pville

pville 43 ardlsey 7 pville was winning 36 0 at half. pure domination

  13. A Fan

Lol… before the second half.. Thanks

  14. A Fan

How long was the Somers starters in? They like to play them in the 3rd quarter.

  15. Section w/ some sence

    mahopac vs ramapo????????

  16. jjjjjjjjjj

    mahopac 28- ramapo 27

  17. Jeff P.

    Scary,

You may be interested to know that three out of four of Poughkeepsie’s wins came against “storied” programs and all of its wins were away from home. Look, I’m not here to make excuses for a 62-12 blowout, but let me ask you this: If PK did not belong in the Class A playoffs, which teams did? Personally, I think Somers is going to end up making quite a few teams look worse than they really are…

To “A Fan”: Somers had its starters in through the 3rd quarter…

  18. ChiefWildEagle

Ossining had the starters out in the 2nd quarter after it was 42-0.
The Ossining second team played well and Fox Lane played hard and kept hitting all through the game.

As for Somers, I think that this game was somewhat close at the beginning of the third quarter and then it turned ugly. I cannot believe I am defending Somers but I don’t think the went out of their way to run it up.

To First and 10, the pie was very good. I am already thinking about next weeks slice.

Big Joe, where were you tonite? We don’t think you made it up to the O. Oh Well, you didn’t miss much.
Better ask for your money back from all those candles.
Better yet for Harrison to beat Nyack you better find yourself a St. Jude someplace and make a novena.

  19. CRY SOME MORE

WELL WELL WELL EASTCHESTER PEOPLE STILL WANT TO PLAY OSSINING?
SOMERS SHOULD BE ASHAME OF THEMSELVES FOR PLAYING THEIR STARTERS FOR THREE QUARTERS

    O NINE

  20. section 1 w/ some sense

i think jumping out in front by the half is enough and then let the backups do their thing. In Ossining guys who get beat up at practice got to play in playoff mintues at home! huge for those guys. In somers there KEY players were out there making plays into the last couple mins of the 3 quarter. I hear it was ugly football at that point though so can’t blame them for that but it just never looks good when you put up 60 with starters in but its already over and done with, see if Somers still cares about the win in the morning there attention probably already shifted to harrison v. nyack tomorrow

right now it seams like no one belongs in the playoffs except Ossining and Somers. Fox lane did nothing with the chance Eastchester gave them, so for all their pleading playoffs werent exactly stolen from them. Nyack has the chance to show that is even more true if they can blow out Harrison tomorrow, which i believe they will almost do, i see a 13-17pt win

but they will show how much of a 3 team race it is, yorktown will have a chance to make a name for themselves at the O. Yes there were some wars years ago as someone posted early on the playoff breakdown entry. But as far as i know Yorktown hasn’t been down here under the lights. They are going to walk into a new chapter of Ossining football that a lot of teams are struggling with these days …

  21. MingTheMerciless

    OSSINING 52-FOX LANE 13

TO I AGREE and the rest of the Eastchester bloggers. You lost to Fox Lane and you are saying you should be in the playoffs!
You lost to Fox Lane and you are talking smack about how tough your league is.
    How tough your schedule is.
How Ossining and Nyack played no one.
How Eastchester would beat either one of those teams.
How Eastchester is a powerhouse program.
Do yourselves a favor and start watching another sport.
I am now really surprised you guys managed to even beat Sleepy.
Stop wasting our precious natural resources by using electric power to get on this blog and make utter fools of yourselves.
    YOU LOST TO FOX LANE.
I GUESS OSSINING WOULD BEAT YOU LIKE 60-0.
BYE BYE, MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO BACK TO CLASS B.

In closing, did Hen Hud really beat JJCR?
I guess Hen Hud is not so bad.
Maybe JJCR and little Jimmy should go back up to AA. At least they can play second fiddle there. LMAO!!!!!!

  22. close by

Hate to rub it in, but all those Fox Lane people talking trash about Eastchester last week, all I have to say is OUCH!!!!!! That is just plain embarassing.

  23. close by

Cry some more, have you ever played???????? You talk a lot of crap that’s for sure so I doubt you ever played or if you did you definitely road the pine. No one talks as much sh?? as you.

  24. sportsuncle

DeMatteo does it again up 28-6 game well in hand at the half. Oh no Ossining up really big 42-0 starters out before the half is over. Better leave my starters in , need more scores so people will think I’m a great teacher of young men. What about being a humble winner?

  25. CHSFL

    sportsuncle…

Tell me this..imagine you play on Somers team and you’re a senior scout team player…you finally get in a playoff game for the first time, likely won’t get in a game for the rest of the playoffs….

Do you honestly care what score is? Hell no..you just want to play well and possibly score the first TD of your career…You can’t go and blame Dematteo for running up the score..what is he supposed tell his kids to take it easy? Not give it 100% ? Thats how you get hurt..

    Stop the crying

  26. Indeed

Couldn’t agree more about Clark being over rated. What an embarrassing season. Those poor kids.

  27. CRY SOME MORE

    CLOSE BY,

    COME A LITTLE CLOSER.

PLAYED 2 WAYS IN HIGH SCHOOL, PLAYED IN COLLEGE AND COACHED H. S. FOOTBALL.NEVER SAT ON THE BENCH. WAIT A MINUTE THERE WAS ONE TIME IN H. S. WHEN WE BEAT THE HELL OUT OF EASTCHESTER BY HALFTIME AND THE STARTERS WERE TAKEN OUT AND I SAT ON THE BENCH.

MAN IN THE STANDS TALKS WAY MORE SH?? THEN ME.

  28. lloyd christmas

Somers D’ was scoring the points late into the 3rd Q. pk fumbled a kick return, then lombardo intercepted the ball after pk drove down field, it was closer than indicated at times, pk had those speedy bursts up the middle every now and then for a scare, not to mention somers also had a missed fg.. and a kick return or two for tds. passed for also 3 or 4.

  29. Husker Nation

under? green machine,9a or tspoon? halloween?

  30. Hate On U

wow Somers scores 60 again. Lombardo scored the last td on a fumble return…. Why was he in when somers had 56 points, what the hell? Dematteo man, 2 times!!!

  31. A Fan

    CHSFL:

If it was the second stringers no one would be upset but his starters ran up the score in the third quarter. The game was out of reach long before the 60 mark. Let the scout team play like Ossining did.

  32. A Fan

  33. A Fan

Know the facts before you post.

  34. jjjjjjjjjj

john jay those poor kids what are you talking about they were the ones on the fields playing not coach clark.

john jay found out that class A is harder than AA as a whole.

Jimmy Clark for president move over Oboma.

Cry some more – I am not from Eastchester, just an objective observer. ANd to me your comments have been way over the top. I think you had made your point on the first 100 blogs you wrote. I would bet the farm against what you proclaim your resume to be based how much you talk. People that are confident in themselves don’t talk the way you do. I won’t brag about my resume, but let’s just say if I were you and played in Class A or B, I would not talk too much. Does not mean you can not be proud of where you played, but please take a pill.

  36. CRY SOME MORE

    CLOSE BY,

I HAVE NO NEED TO LIE ABOUT MY RESUME I PLAYED AT SLEEPY HOLLOW, WENT TO A D3 SCHOOL, AND COACHED AT WOODLANDS AND AT SLEEPY HOLLOW BEFORE CHANGING CAREERS. SO HOLD ONTO THE FARM.

WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR DEGREE IN PSYCHOLOGY FROM? I NEVER DO DRUGS SO TAKE A PILL FOR ME.

  37. statesman

Somers showed why they are a Beast with Ossining in A… Good luck to both programs and represent Section 1 Well!!!

  38. sportsuncle

chfsl check the paper somers starters played thru the 3rd quarter .the second team played and they deserved to but they did not score .letting your 1st team stay in the that long is poor planning what would people say if one of your superstars got hurt

  39. Tomaso

Congrats to Yorktown for taking care of business last night at Brewster. I thought Yorktown was the better team, but I gave Brewster an edge controlling the line of scrimmage on both the O and D lines into the 3rd quarter. Brewster needed to capitalize on every opportunity they got and they could not (turnovers). I give Yorktown a chance at Ossining. They need to play smart, take care of the football, and tackle better. The O will make you pay for missed tackle’s. Good luck Yorktown.

  40. baller

    Tomaso,

Don’t pretend like yorktown has a chance at ossining. Because b4 u kno it, its 34-0 at the half ossining.

Cry some more, Sleppy Hollow has a football team?????

Playing both ways in highs school is an accomplishment, especially at Sleepy Hollow?????

In support of all of Eastchester, STOP CRYING!!!!!

  42. CRY SOME MORE

I SEE YOU HAVE SWALLOWED THAT PILL IT’S STARTING TO AFFECT YOU NOW GO TO BED AND REST.

  43. close by

    wwwhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Go Horsemen!

  44. ManInTheStands

Seems CRY SOME MORE aka CSM aka…. has dragged my name into the hissy fit he and Close By aka CB are having.
First, Boy calm down and play nice.
Second, CSM, I do not talk more sh%* than you I just do it with more class and creativity.
To CB, CSM’s resume is very accurate, he is just having a little fun on the blog, taking this week to pick on the Eastchester fans/bloggers aka Cry Babies.
It seems the severe beating Fox Lane took from Ossining has finally driven the fans of the Eastchester Powerhouse away.
Besides CB, talking sh%& is what you do on a blog. I am here to escape from the pressures of modern life, you know energy prices, the real estate/mortgage mess, the economy of lack thereof, the usual end of life issues that I deal with everyday at work.
I you want to talk $h%&, welcome aboard. If you want to explore my or anyone else Psyche, I suggest working on your PhD and then you can be just like Dr Phil of $h%& and get paid to talk $h%&.

  45. scary

Are you guys serious about Yorktown beating Ossning? This is going to be a blowout win for O.

  46. close by

MITS, Like I said I am an objective observer. Last week made some sense for all the venom pointed at Eastchester, but for it to continue this week seemed way over board. Eastchester had a great year, fell short, it should be left at that. After all these are kids playing a game. If bashing kids gets out of line, people need to be called on it.

I think we all can agree that the blog is here to talk sh?? and even give unqualified psyco analysis, though you are not a fan. I would argue it falls under talking sh??. I will continue to observe and psycho analyze aka talk sh??.

And what matters most, good luck to all the kids still playing!!!!
