He was the girls coach since the 2002-03 season and won back to back Class 'D' Titles in the 2004-05 season & the 2005-06 season. I don’t know if you heard, but our Varsity Girls Coach from Leake & Watts, George Burton passed away, last Monday, March 24th at the age of 64.
He was the girls coach since the 2002-03 season and won back to back Class ‘D’ Titles in the 2004-05 season & the 2005-06 season.
I’m wondering if you guys can write an article on his bio and if there are any pictures of him in your archives.

Losing to the ultimate champion can temper a tough loss to some extent.....After watching Iona Prep lose a heart breaker to Bishop Ford, I find myself wanting Ford to beat Long Island Lutheran and then Jamesville-Dewitt....I much would have preferred to see Peekskill beat Ford however...
