High School sports in the Lower Hudson Valley

12 minutes and counting

February
28

Greetings everyone. Alex Myers back on Kevin Devaney’s legendary blog to bring you the latest from all the games at the County Center today.

We are getting close to the tip of the Class AA semifinal between No. 4 Scarsdale and No. 1 Mount Vernon. The Knights swept the season series.

Following will be the girls Class AA semifinal between Lourdes and Mount Vernon. So this is truly a big day for “The Vern”.

Mount Vernon is currently going through some last minute free throw practice, while Scarsdale is still in its layup lines. It’s a sparse crowd so far with the early time, but as the outside traffic suggests to me, this building should continue to fill up quickly. Be back with more shortly.
